Today is not a holiday or a birthday or an anniversary. But this morning I woke up to find a dozen roses in a pretty vase on the counter with a card from Wayne. There was also a small little flower pot w/ some pink flowers in it for Kaili. The card said "Just Because... I love you. Love, Wayne" ...Life has been so crazy and busy lately for us. Wayne has been working ridiculous hours at his job for the last 2 weeks. Ive been working 50 hour weeks since, basically, Thanksgiving. Our weekends have been filled with birthday parties, family events, visiting with friends, holiday get togethers, our weekly trips to the grocery store ( Wayne calls this our *3 hour tour*) etc, etc.. and we just got hit hard by the flu 2 weeks ago, which, thank GOD we are finally recovering from. So this nice little surprise on a random Tuesday morning made me smile and it makes me realize all the things I should be thankful for. Thank you Wayne. :)
